Whole ribeyes should be around 14 pounds each. (They can be slightly smaller or larger, but that should be the average weight). Be prepared to spend around $85-$90 a ribeye. If you have the money in your grocery budget, this is a stock-up price on ribeyes.
The meat department will cut your ribeye into steaks for you. You can specify the thickness.
In my opinion, ribeyes are the best cut of steak. They have excellent flavor and tenderness. When I order steak at a restaurant, I always order a ribeye.
