My main goal for the year is to get organized and be a better manager of my time. I am making progress, but still have a lot of work.
During the “cleaning” time of my schedule, I ususally have a lot of different things going on at once. Sometimes I set the timer on the microwave to remind me to do something (like put the clothes in the dryer or take dishes out of the dishwasher). The only problem is that I don’t always remember why I set the timer.
Solution! I realized that I could use a dry erase marker on the microwave. I set the timer, right down what I need to remember to do (in this case I needed to remember to turn off the water heater) and when the timer goes off, I simply wipe off the reminder.
Why didn’t I think of this sooner?!
I recommend testing the dry erase marker in an inconspicuous spot on your microwave before trying this. Just in case it doesn’t wipe off as well on your microwave.
